Feeding the ducks

So in my attempt to put down the camera and just enjoy being with my kids and family, Justin has so kindly pointed out that I really don't take any pictures of the boys anymore. I can't believe it, I have been so busy with life and everything that I haven't pulled out my camera to take photos of my own children in months! What kind of photographer am I?! So I am trying to find a balance in my life of when to be the photographer and be a mom at the same time. I want my kids to remember me as both but most of all I want them to remember having fun with me and not me with a camera in front of my face the whole time.
We recently discovered a fun park that has some great ducks to feed (thanks mom)! The boys and I went there to play and all I had was pretzels and the ducks ate them up just fine. I sure do love these boys and am blessed and honored to be their mother. I loving hanging out with them everyday. Even through the hard times they always find a way to make my mommy heart melt!

New Home New Park

SO excited we moved into out very first home! We love it so much and I promise I will post photo as soon as I get it more "put together"! I have to say it was a transition from out tiny apartment to a big house. There is so much more space and the boys are loving having a yard finally to play in. I love the neighborhood and I LOVE not being in an apartment anymore! We went to our neighborhood park and the boys had such a fun time. I love that we can take family walks together!

Disney Trip Day 3 Part 2

As we made our way through Epcot we found ourselves in London. We had to stop for lunch and had yummy fish & chips. The boys had a fun time exploring the phone booths and feeding papa and nana. We got to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tiger too! By this point the boys had reached their limit for the day and needed a nap. Nana and Papa graciously took the boys back to the hotel while Justin and I got to explore the rest of Epcot by ourselves. We had fun and goofed off as we usually do!

The Gender Party

So ever since I saw a show on TCL where a family announced the gender of their baby through a cake to their family and friends I knew I had to do it too. I love the idea of finding out such news with loved ones instead of being alone in a small room with an ultrasound technician that you hardly know! And we always need a reason to get together and party right? So I would have been happy either way but I must admit I did really want a girl. I posted a little poll on facebook and everyone was predicting a girl. I was preparing myself for it to be a boy, so when I cut into that cake and it was nothing but pink, I was overcome with emotion. I am so grateful that the lord has blessed our family with a daughter. I am also overcome with love and gratitude for all my friends and family who came to celebrate with us. Thank you to my mom, sister, and dad for all their hard working in getting the party planned and setup. I love you all very much and am so excited to welcome
Brighton Kay Polson to the world around December 31!
