Our Family Vacation {Part 2}

I had no idea the Corpus had a botanical garden so we had to go explore! It was pretty small and very hot outside but there were actually a lot of very cool animals and some very interesting plants.

 So there was this great butterfly garden there and the boys wanted a butterfly to land on them so bad! It was hard trying to help them and I really wanted them to be happy. There was a stand out with some fruit on it and they finally got a chance to touch a butterfly! I just love their faces as the are running off! JOY!

 Brighton was pretty tired so Justin took her to the car and the boys and I went on a nature walk. It was a lot longer than expected and super hot but we had a great time exploring! the boys decided on stamps as their souvenir from the gift shop. I of course must have been suffering from the heat and got it for them. About halfway to our hotel I turned around and saw this...
 Great memories...big messes.

Our Family Vacation {Part 1}

This summer we decided to take the kids to our favorite vacation spot in Texas, Corpus Christi. We had just potty trained the boys so I was a bit worried about how the three plus hour drive would go. We had to stop about every twenty minutes to pull over for potty breaks but after they fell asleep we made a longer distances between restroom breaks! This trip was extra fun because my cousin and his family were also in Corpus with a bunch of their friends so we were able to accompany them to many places and have fun together. Well you know me I took a bunch of pictures so I am going to break this vacation into a few different blog posts.
One of our favorite places in Corpus is the Texas State Aquarium. It was a very rainy first couple of days so we really enjoyed being inside and seeing all the different animals.
There is a really neat water splash play area at the aquarium that the boys had a blast with!

 There is was this new exhibit that had tons of stuffed animals that looked really cool on the flyer we had so we decided to go check it out. It was not really what I had expected at all and it smelled a little funny but the boys really liked seeing all the animals. Even Brighton had a good time!

We had lunch at this super cool Mexican restaurant right on the beach. The boys went and flew a kite. The restrant had a really cute kids meal that was mac and cheese “ocean” with “fish” goldfish, and a “octopus” a hot dog cut up. It was really fun and the food was great!

 I was also a bit worried about how our hotel experience would be but we had a really good time. The boys did really well and actually slept in the hide a bed. We read stories every night and basically stayed in the same routine we do at home. Brighton of course was a champ and did really good.
We also had a really great time swimming in the hotel pool!
I love how much her brothers love her. Such a sweet moment when we caught Kingston sharing the iPad with her.
More pictures and fun to come very soon! Stayed tuned :)

Father's Day 2012

I am pretty sure I am the luckiest girl alive. I am blessed and surrounded by the most amazing men. The men in my life are strong, smart, and the best examples for my kids to look up too. I am so excited for my boys to have strong men to look up too and strive to be like.  I hope my daughter can learn too look for the qualities that her grandfathers and father have and find an amazing husband that will treat her like the princess she is.

Justin is a one of a kind dad. He is simply put awesome. He helps around the house, helps with the kids, and works hard at his job to support us. We are so lucky. Its hard for me to express the gratitude and love I feel for him in written form but I hope he knows how much we love and appreciate him.

Brighton has a special place in daddy's heart, she is his little princess. She is has him wrapped around her sweet little fingers! His favorite thing about her is her smile and how happy she is all the time.
Daddy loves to play with Kingston. His favorite part about Kingston is how goofy he is and his fun, playful spirit. They love to wrestle and play choo choos!
London is a gentle sweetheart. He is kind and loving to everyone, especially his siblings. He makes friends wherever he goes. He is so curious about the world around him and wants to understand WHY?!
Papa Jackson or as the boys call him Papa Julie or Papa Poo Poo Nacka. All three of our kids just love him. Brighton and papa have a special bond, the love to nap together and just love looking at each other and smiling. The boys love to go on adventures with Papa. They love to help and go to the lakehouse.
  These kiddos love their Papa Polson. They love helping him around the house and in the yard. Papa Polson has some pretty amazing speakers/TV that the boys can watch movies on. Brighton also loves napping and playing with Papa Polson. I think this little girl has the papa's wrapped up too!
All in all I feel so blessed. I am thankful for the men in my life who have served worth missions, are priesthood holders, hard workers, smart, dedicated to family & education, and who support me and my kids endlessly. I love you all with all my heart.

Mothers Day 2012

I am so grateful to be a mother to my three amazing children. They are the most dear gift my Heavenly Father has given me. I love them with all my heart and would do anything for them. I hope they understand I am in no way perfect but promise to do my best everyday.
I am grateful to be London's mom. He challenges me everyday to be better. He is thoughtful, kind, smart, and inquisitive. I love his thirst for learning and understanding everything around him. I am learning how to gear him in the right direction and to foster his love of technology. He is an amazing cuddle bug, his kisses and hugs are the best, I cherish every one. London is also a spectacular brother to Kingston and he is an amazing help with Brighton. He loves to sing and play with her all the time!
Kingston is pretty awesome! His spirit for life and happiness are so incredible. His smile and laughter bring joy to my soul. He lights up the room when he smiles and his eyes just sparkle. He is passionate about trains that Kingston. I thought it might go away but he loves to run around like a train, get train books from the library, watch trains on TV...obsessed! Kingston is fun and full of life and energy. He is also a great brother to London and loves "his baby" Brighton. He likes to help feed her.
Brighton radiates pure joy and happiness. I'm pretty sure that she is one of the happiest babies in the world. She is going to be one tough cookie for sure. Her brothers love he so much! I love how content she can be through our chaotic days. She just sits in her car seat happily while running errands and swings in her swing while I deal with the boys. She only gets upset when she is hungry, dirty, or tired. I love her smile, her bright big eyes, her crazy hair, and her cute little body (the rolls on her legs are so cute)! She gets bigger everyday, I love her so much, I am so lucky to be her mom.
I am so lucky to have married into the Polson family. They have taught me so much. I am grateful for my mother in law Danene. She is always there for me no matter what. She is always willing to lend an ear when I need to talk, offer guidance and support, she is always willing to help me watch my children whenever I need it. She is a pillar of strength and I am grateful for everything that she teaches me as she selflessly gives of herself to her family and mine. She loves my kids and kids love her!
I don't even know were to begin how to express my thoughts on my dear mother. She is my best friend and I love her with all my heart. I know without any shadow of a doubt that I am her daughter and she is my mother. I am so grateful for all that she has done for me. I am grateful for all the amazing memories of my childhood and all the fun adventures we went on. I want so badly to be like her and provide my children and family with many amazing memories of all the fun things we do together. I admire her thirst for knowledge and am grateful she passed that thirst of learning down to me and to my kids. I am grateful she never gave up on me and I hope that I too can persevere through whatever challenges I may have with my own children. She is a amazing Nana and is always willing lend a hand and follow us on whatever adventures we go on.
I am so grateful for all the memories our kids will have with their Nana's & Papa's. We are so lucky to live so close to both sets of grandparents.

Three Little Monkey's

So life with three kids its pretty crazy. I have to admit most days are a struggle of trying to figure out how to manage these three. The boys are at a age were they have thoughts and strong opinions and I am trying my best on learning how to parent them. Sweet Brighton is going to be one tough cookie! These boys love her with all their hearts! We have so much fun together!
